The most used keyword on my blog is silk curtains. This means that most people who search for silk curtains end up on Interiorladies’ blog. It’s fun. It’s been a long time since I had a separate post about silk curtains so now is really the time. Don’t mind me because I love silk. I’ve collected a bunch of new pictures that will be here!

Why not use the silk curtains as drapes? Personally, I think they should be hung in windows. But if you’re more crazy about silk than I am, why not? Both pictures have greige (gray beige) curtains. It looks great when the length has been increased so much that there is a lot of fluff on the floor. I don’t know any Swedish name for this type of drapery, but in English the fluff is called “puddling”.

Yellow is not the most common curtain color, but look how nice it can be in the right context. It goes well with an interior where blue is the base.

Slightly softer pastel colors suit many homes. Here they have resorted to gray silk curtains in the windows and a tablecloth in white dupion. It is difficult to have silk on a dining table because silk requires dry cleaning. .

That was the new silk post. I hope you silk enthusiasts got some inspiration.
