Soon it will start to sparkle and shine both indoors and outdoors, Advent will soon be here. It is clear that it is longed for to light up the darkness so many have already, as usual, started secretly. I am sticking to tradition and will not take out my Advent paraphernalia until Sunday. Here we will light up in a different way – with a little glamour. There is clearly too little of that. Imagine if there could be more sparkle in the interior all year round. We will investigate a little what it could look like. We will start with a glamorous hall/entrance. I would not mind stepping over the threshold of this home every day.

Or why not have a room entirely dedicated to rest? It’s the French interior designer Deniot, who I’ve blogged about before, who has created this environment in a country house in India, actually.

Hollywood glamour looks like this, sparkling in every way.

When we’re talking about glamorous bedrooms, an alarm clock of this kind would fit in. Maybe it would be more fun to wake up when it sounds.

Nice little sitting area with a crystal chandelier that adds that little extra. I like crystal chandeliers and you can actually have them even if you have low ceilings if they are placed over a table like here.

Here’s another one, but in a more sophisticated setting, looking at the roof.

Luxuriously worse would it be to have a vanity space like this. Silk curtains in dove blue add glamour and elegance.

My dream, a bathtub in solid marble framed by romantic details.

Okay then, we’ll end with a little Christmas glamour. A lavish Christmas tree in the entrance to what looks like some official building.

If you have an old pearl necklace lying around, why not make it the most glamorous bauble on the tree?
