It is an art.
I think the thing about walls and what to hang on them is the most difficult part of interior design. So I don’t have any major problems with wallpaper and wall colors. But then when it comes to what to decorate the walls with, problems almost always arise. Partly because real art is usually expensive…

Good luck in 2018!
Another year has come to an end. It’s always a bit sad in a way, but at the same time it always feels exciting to welcome a new year. Always associated with good hopes that the new year will be better than the previous one, for some reason. Why not start the new year with…

Ralph Lauren
There are a lot of pictures from Ralph Lauren in my blog. It’s no coincidence. I’m a big admirer of the man in question. He has managed to create a company based on a lifestyle concept that is very consistently implemented. Ralph was born in 1939 as Ralph Lifshitz but changed his last name when…

I decorate for Van Morrison
Just for fun of course! Van the man is my god in the world of music. I’ve felt compelled to make my music choices invisible on Spotify so my friends can’t see how much I play Van. It’s not so easy to get a feel for this man. He rarely gives any interviews where he…

Designer Envy
“Designer envy” is what my favorite English blogger, who is an interior designer herself, usually calls it when she shows pictures she has of other interior designers. http://deardesigner.co.uk/ I wanted to exclaim the same thing when I saw the latest issue of Sköna Hem where interior designer Caroline Endre’s latest home is shown. Caroline has almost…

Very British, very quirky and absolutely fabulous!
There is an English interior design company called Timothy Oulton that stands out with its very own style. It’s a bit of vintage, a bit of British “cozyness” and a bit of raw industrialism. The mix is original but the result is absolutely wonderful. Check out the pictures.
