Art in the kitchen

If you, like me, don’t have a dining room and would like the dining area in the kitchen to feel more like a dining room, you can make it a little more elegant by hanging art. After I moved from the “big house” I had a painting, a larger model, that didn’t fit any better in my new, much smaller home. When my sister expressed interest in taking over the painting and that she was going to hang it in her kitchen, I changed my mind and thought it was a great idea, sorry dear sister.

The painting that found its place over my kitchen table instead and gave the small kitchen dining area a certain grandeur. The point is, don’t be afraid to hang paintings, or oversized ones for that matter, in a small space.
