As the silk merchant that I am, I collect a lot of inspiration images on silk from various image banks, such as Pinterest. The purpose of this is to provide influences for future purchases of new silk colors. It is not easy, you know, to choose the colors that we hope our customers will like.
Generally, our customers prefer light, soft colors. I wish more people would dare to experiment with a little more color for a more unique look. However, there are customers who want trendy colors and then it’s important to keep up with them and know what’s trending right now. The challenge is to find a color tone that is timeless but can be lived with for a long time. Silk curtains are hardly something that you replace every year, but they should be able to function for at least 10 years. My own silk curtains have been around for almost 20 years at this point.
Now I’m going on an odyssey through the latest beautiful pictures of silk curtains I’ve come across.
White or off-white silk curtains are always right.
