I have previously praised blue and white as a color combination. It gives such an irresistible summery feeling. When I decorated the country house, it was almost entirely blue and white. I have collected a considerable number of pictures in this color combination and it is difficult to choose the best ones. Here are some of my favorites. Starting with some living rooms.
The stylish living room above was created by our Swedish designer Caroline Endre, who in my opinion is incredibly talented. In the latest issue of Sköna hem, she said the following about the picture: “By the sea, denim blue is a given. Then I mixed in a little yellow and that’s a bit forbidden in the Swedish-Swedish flag, isn’t it?” I agree. When I decorate and also when it comes to my clothing choices, I avoid yellow together with blue. What could be the reason? We don’t need to be ashamed of our beautiful flag. I don’t think other nationalities avoid their flag colors.
Now it will be a bedroom.

Blue in bathrooms is not common these days. It was much more common in the past. In my parents’ home, which was built in the 60s, we had a light blue bathtub and sink along with a gray mosaic floor, and I think it stood the test of time in terms of style compared to other color schemes from that time. I remember that the neighbor’s bathroom had bathroom porcelain in light yellow and burgundy…
